We learned the 7 main things cattle give us and how we use each. Then the boys were in awe when I described how they actually eat their food twice. “DISGUSTING!” was both of their responses.
First fieldtrip of “Mommy has a cool school”…to the Milano Livestock exchange! The kids loved seeing all the cattle and listening to the auctioneer. Once getting over the indoor smell, we all sat back and enjoyed the morning (without raising our hand, picking our nose, or scratching our face of course). We had no room to take a cow home.
Lunch was at the local DQ while we feasted on steak fingers, burgers, and a dip cone for dessert…HOLY COW Y’ALL, it was fun!
